I am working on a couple of paintings. In the lower painting I have added color in the boats and now will be adding more detail to the overall scene. In the landscape I have established light and dark areas and a color scheme. I want to avoid becoming too detailed in this painting and allow
for a more painterly approach.

This painting has more definition added and now need just a little more work with detail and shading. The background and foreground has been softened.
