New Projects

I'm planning a few new paintings in the coming days. A new mountain landscape, Seascape, and one which I have a quick color sketch previewed. In these quick studies I am not stressing detail, but establishing dark and light values in the painting. I am using a combination of Hookers green and cadmium Red for the darks. I plan to use a fairly intense red for the lower third of this painting.

ABC Studios Licensing Program

I have been contacted today, thru fineartamerica.com, to enter artwork for possible selection for licensing my prints to the ABC network for its use on television. Hope this works out as it would be exciting for any artist to see their work on national tv.

Aspens

This is a new original painting. I liked the contrast of the yellow aspen trees against the dark green background. Stream was added to create interest in the foreground and lead the viewers eye into the scene. This painting has been added to my Etsy shop.
