I have added some dark values to this painting and will begin detail work next.

I am planning a few new paintings including some still lifes and local scenes as well as the painting shown here. This one has some underpainting begun and I will develop the dark areas next.

Work in Progress

I am working on a new Western Landscape. The basic composition is roughed in first and light and dark areas added. in the top photograph some underpainting is indicated. I will post more on this landscape later.
