Today I am posting a painting nearing completion. I have a few things I still want to consider before I finish, however I will be listing this painting on Etsy in a few days. It is 18 X 30.

Wheat Field and Blue Fence

This new original painting is an impressionistic color study in predominately blue and yellow values with touches of purple, green, and red. The outline of the fence creates a graphic design to overlay the yellow background.

Landscape With Snow

This is an original acrylic painting on gallery wrapped canvas. I was interested in this subject matter for the overall color, diagonal shapes, and the combination of cool and warm hues

The Homestead

This painting is now completed. I finished detail on the cabin and added a fence and foreground detail. This is an old cabin which is located in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. The completed painting is now for sale on my Etsy site.

Preview

Working on a new painting today. I used a dark background here to make the cabin stand out. Colors are Burnt Sienna, Cadmium yellow, Cadmium red light, Hookers green, Cerulean blue. This painting is about 50% finished and will be available in my Etsy shop when completed.
